Call Open: Training Through Research Surveys 2019

The 2019 call for applicants to take part in Training Through Research Surveys (TTRS)  is now open.  TTRS is a collaboration with the Marine Institute that increases national capacity in offshore marine research by offering training and mentoring for students of marine related sciences and technologies on research surveys on the national RVs, Celtic Explorer and RV Celtic Voyager.

Placements are geared towards marine oriented graduates, postgraduate students and early stage researchers from higher education institutes and research agencies across the Island of Ireland.  Joining a TTRS survey is an opportunity to gain offshore experience, develop new skills and learn on the job with established research scientists and research leaders.
